died after collapsing in custody at Cheadle Heath police station

A teenage dad who suffered from epilepsy died after collapsing while in custody.

Billy Salton, 19, of Edgeley, Stockport, had handed himself in at Cheadle Heath police station as a warrant was out for his arrest in connection with an alleged burglary.

A packed court included solicitors acting for the family, Greater Manchester Police and healthcare firm Medacs whose doctor was sent to the police station.

The court heard how in the months before his death Mr Salton, who had worked as a greenkeeper at Reddish Vale Golf Club, suffered an increase in epileptic fits, on occasion as many as 15 a day.

As a result his medication levels Ahmad Brooks Authentic Jersey had been increased to control the condition, although he would sometimes forget to take it.

He lived in Hollywood Towers but had been Antoine Bethea 49ers Jersey sleeping rough and at a friends house to avoid arrest.

His sister Kayleigh Salton had persuaded him to hand himself in late on July 4, 2012, five days before his death in hospital.

Miss Salton said: "At least then I knew he was in safe hands rather than sleeping rough."

Joanne Hynd and Kayleigh Salton, mum and sister to www.official49ersnflauthentic.com/WOMENS-CARLOS-HYDE-JERSEY.html Billy Salton

Sergeant Michael Dagnall, who was on duty that night, said he had no concerns about Mr Salton's welfare at that time. He was put on a schedule to be checked every 30 minutes and in a cell with CCTV but not to be roused if he was sleeping.

A doctor from Medacs visited Mr Salton but he told staff he had no http://www.official49ersnflauthentic.com/WOMENS-ERIC-REID-JERSEY.html medication with him and none at home.

Coroner Joanne Kearsely said that CCTV footage showed him having a 'fit or Antoine Bethea Authentic Jersey seizure' but Sgt Dagnall said he had not noticed that. There was another sergeant and four civilian workers on duty at the time.

Sgt Dagnall said: "As a general rule people do glance at the (CCTV monitor) screen between doing work. There's not enough individuals to have one person sat there watching the screens.

"There is a play back feature not everyone is trained to use. People have been trained since."

It was said Mr Salton had become agitated by the standard of his food after around 24 hours in custody but then calmed down.

Speaking outside the inquest Mr Salton's mum Joanne Hynd said the burglary allegation related to an incident at the house of his partner, who was the mother of his child.

She added: "He was a brilliant Ahmad Brooks Womens Jersey son, brother and dad. He wanted so much to be a dad. He would always be there for you and make time for you."

Both Mr Salton's mum and sister appeared at the inquest wearing t shirts with pictures of him on in a tribute.

Bills release Leinart

It's official: Kevin Kolb won't play this season. Neither will Matt Leinart at least not right Eric Reid Authentic Jersey now for the Buffalo Bills.

The Bills placed Kolb on injured reserve Friday, along with fellow quarterback Brad Smith and running back Drew Smith, and they cut Leinart just days after signing him. 8 opener against the New England Patriots before having minor knee surgery Aug. 18.

If Manuel can't go, Jeff Tuel an undrafted rookie from Washington State will start in Week 1.

The Bills signed Leinart and traded for Thaddeus Lewis to get through Thursday's preseason finale. Leinart was released after a shaky 3 for 10 performance against the Detroit Lions.

The next question for Kolb is whether his career is over, too. In six NFL seasons, he has suffered at least two other concussions, including one that opened the door for Michael Vick to take the starting job with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010.

Kolb spent the past two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals, where he failed to secure the starting job because of an assortment of injuries, including a concussion in 2011. He switched to a new helmet the following year one meant to give additional protection to the back of his head.

Seahawks cut former Pro Bowler

Former Pro Bowl fullback Michael Robinson is out in Seattle. Robinson, 30, announced news of his release from the Seahawks on Twitter.

"Been real. 12th Man, will always have love for ya," Robinson tweeted.

Robinson was set to make http://www.official49ersnflauthentic.com/WOMENS-AHMAD-BROOKS-JERSEY.html $2.5 million this year, a hefty salary for a fullback, though none of that money was guaranteed. Robinson has been away from the team for nearly two weeks because of what head coach Pete Carroll had described as a virus.

While Robinson was away, the Seahawks relied on rookie fullbacks Derrick Coleman and Spencer Ware.

Robinson played in every game last season, with six starts as the lead blocker for Marshawn Lynch. He was also an important part of the Seahawks' special teams units and was voted as a team captain. Robinson was originally drafted in 2006 out of Penn State by San Francisco, where he played for four seasons.

Bears cut Carlos Hyde Jersey former starting left tackle

Taking a paycut wasn't enough to save J'Marcus Webb's job with the Chicago Bears.

The fourth year tackle was waived Friday.

Good bye, Chicago! I gave you 3 years of me.

But he didn't fit into new coach Marc Trestman's plans, even after agreeing to reduce his 2013 base Eric Reid 49ers Jersey salary from $1.323 million to $630,000 two weeks ago.

The Bears opened camp with Webb at right tackle and Jermon Bushrod playing the left side. But rookie fifth round pick Jordan Mills beat out Webb for the starting job.

The team parted with 16 other players Friday, including journeymen quarterbacks Trent Edwards and Jordan Palmer.

Cardinals won't get first round pick back this season

Whatever slim chance Arizona Cardinals rookie guard Jonathan Cooper had of returning this season from a broken leg is gone.

The Cardinals ended his season by placing him on injured reserve Friday, six days after he was hurt in the third preseason game against the San Diego Chargers. Cooper had surgery Sunday.

The Cardinals chose not to use their lone option to recall Cooper, the Carlos Hyde Authentic Jersey No. 7 pick in the draft, from IR later in the season.

"Based on the medical prognosis and weighing all of the other factors, we decided that placing him on IR made the most sense for the team and for Jonathan," Arizona general manager Steve Keim said in a statement. "Knowing his work ethic and commitment, we have no doubt Jonathan will come out of this experience fully ready to be a official49ersnflauthentic.com/WOMENS-ANTOINE-BETHEA-JERSEY.html key contributor next season and for many more beyond that."

Did the Pittsburgh steelers win last night against the Arizona Cardinals in their first game

Not exactly the type of first half you'd expect from the two Super Bowl teams.

A 3 3 score and just 16 first downs. Santonio Holmes, who made the catch to win the Super Bowl had just one catch for zero yards. The Cardinals Larry Antoine Bethea Jersey Fitzgerald, the former Pitt star? Just one catch for eight yards.

But if you were expecting a Super Bowl rematch, you had a better chance of hitting the lottery. While Heinz Field was a frenzy and the terrible towels were flying, the game was more a measuring stick of what the rookies had to offer and a chance to test the bubble players.

Steeler starters saw just two series lasting a quarter while the Cardinals starters also saw limited action going just two series also.

"Overall, without looking at film, I think it was Ok," quarterback Ben Roethlisberger said. "I think we had a couple of player with a few breakdowns, but it just felt good to go against someone other than your own guys."

But the Ahmad Brooks Womens Jersey rookies, newcomers and youngsters had their chance to shine and made the best of it in a 20 10 Steeler win.

"We saw some positive things and some men who distinguished themselves," Steeler coach Mike Tomlin said. "But by no means are we going to wear our hands out patting ourselves on the back. We have a lot of work here in front of us, and we will continue to work our football team to build for the 09 season."

Redman leads www.official49ersnflauthentic.com/WOMENS-CARLOS-HYDE-JERSEY.html Steelers past Cardinals, 20 10

PITTSBURGH Issac Redman accomplished nearly everything a seventh string running back can hope to do while trying to win a job with the Super Bowl champions. He made an impression, and he did it twice.

Redman, an undrafted rookie from Ahmad Brooks Elite Jersey Bowie State playing long after the starters for both Super Bowl teams left the field, scored twice in the fourth quarter and the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Arizona Cardinals 20 10 in a preseason opener Thursday night.

Neither team scored a touchdown until rookie Joe Burnett intercepted a pass by third teamer Brian St. Pierre, a former Steelers backup, and returned it to the Arizona 3 to end the third quarter. Redman scored on the next play, and scored on a 5 yard run about 7 minutes later to end an 80 yard drive led by No. 3 quarterback Dennis Dixon.

Redman, a power back who hasn't hesitated to take on some of the Super Bowl champion's best linebackers in blocking drills, is listed as official49ersnflauthentic.com/WOMENS-ERIC-REID-JERSEY.html Pittsburgh's No. 7 running back, yet he also scored twice in goal line situations during the team's only game like night practice of camp last Friday.

"This team prides itself on being able to find those free agents that are capable of playing," Redman said, referring to finds such as the undrafted Willie Parker and James Harrison. "Hopefully I can be that next free agent. I knew I had to make an impression, or I might not even make it to the first (preseason) game.

Arizona's only touchdown was fourth string quarterback Tyler Palko's 20 yard pass to Onrea Jones with 3:30 remaining. Palko, a three year Pitt starter, completed his first five passes for 59 yards but was intercepted on his next series and Steelers rookie Piotr Czech kicked a 44 yard field goal. The Cardinals attempted 49 passes, completing 26 for 281 yards, with Leinart going 8 of 14 for 83 yards.

"The only thing I didn't like was we had chances to make plays and didn't," coach Ken Whisenhunt said.

Ben Roethlisberger and Kurt Warner each played two series make that 1 1/2 for Warner and neither produced a point before the backups took over in the second quarter. Warner went 6 for 10 for 53 yards and Roethlisberger was 4 of 6 for 33 yards, and neither looked all that rusty.

"Overall, without looking at film, I think it was OK," Roethlisberger said. "I think we had a couple of plays with a few breakdowns, but it just felt good to go against somebody other than your own guys."

Warner was pulled during the middle of a drive early in the second quarter after the Cardinals moved from their own 21 to the Pittsburgh 46. The drive stalled after Matt Leinart took over, even with backup Steelers defenders on the field, and Arizona punted.

"I felt like we moved the ball and did what we wanted to," Warner said. "It seems like this game came pretty quick. When we were Antoine Bethea Limited Jersey in the locker room, we were thinking, 'Man, it is here already.' "

Sweed, trying to win the No. 3 receiver's job vacated by Nate Washington, later hooked up with Charlie Batch on a 45 yard pass play to the Cardinals 39 that led to Jeff Reed's 50 yard field goal. Sweed drew cheers while making two catches for 56 yards in his first game at Heinz Field since, while wide open, he dropped an apparent TD pass in the AFC championship game against Baltimore.

"I just wanted to catch the ball and hold on to it," Sweed said.

Santonio Holmes, the Super Bowl MVP after catching Roethlisberger's game winning TD pass in the final minute of the 27 23 win over Arizona on Feb. 1, caught one pass in brief playing time. So did former Pitt All American Larry Fitzgerald, whose two second half TD catches in Tampa nearly rallied the Cardinals to a Super Bowl upset.

Batch played briefly, going 1 of 2 for 45 yards, and probably was glad he did. He broke his collarbone in the exhibition opener against Philadelphia last season and missed the season.

NOTES: Arizona first round draft pick Beanie Wells sat out with a sprained ankle. Tim Hightower carried four times for 24 yards. . Steelers DE Brett Keisel (calf) was held out, as was Parker (back spasms). . The Cardinals have seven former Steelers players and four former Pitt players, plus six former Steelers assistant coaches, including Whisenhunt. . Heinz Field has a new, all grass playing field. The previous surface had some synthetic strands woven into the grass.

A compassionate and highly skilled doctor, Garo was a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and terrific friend to many. He was 46. The first of two children, Garo was born in Michigan. He grew up in suburban Detroit and attended the Alex Manoogian Armenian School and, later, Walled Lake Central High School, where he made many lifelong friends, excelled academically, and even elected as Homecoming King. An intelligent and talented young man, Garo was also musically inclined, mastering the piano, and bass guitar. Friends recall his father, Ara, owned many classic cars his son borrowed to sneak in friends to a drive in movie; his mother, Vicky, would have dinner parties with an abundance of Armenian food and Garo would play duets with his sister, a violinist. Garo's sister, Linda, a year younger, had many of the same friends and it was little wonder why the Gholdoian house was the most popular in the area. After graduation, Garo sought new horizons and went West to California where he enrolled at the University of California, Irvine (UCI) to study medicine. During this time, he met Staci Paul, also a student at UCI, who, seven years later, would become his wife. Staci and Garo both earned their medical degrees at the UCI California College of Medicine in 1993 and Garo continued his residency at UCI Medical Center, specializing in urology. While a medical student, Garo was diagnosed with non Hodgkin's lymphoma. Soon after his diagnosis, he began an aggressive treatment, including chemotherapy/radiation. While Garo battled his disease, his friends and family rallied with him. The endless optimism and love all around were rewarded: Garo beat cancer. This tragedy became a gift, a gift he used in his own practice; he became a caring physician that patients could count on for the truth, as well as, a laugh and always with compassion. After finishing residency in California, Garo and Staci moved to Reno, Nevada, where they began a new life. Both flourished in private practice. He quickly became known not only as a skilled and competent physician but a leader in the medical community of Reno, as: Chief of the Department of Urology at Renown and St. Mary's, a Founder of a radiation center (IMRT), a board member of Surgery Center of Reno, and, later, to become President of Urology of Nevada. As busy and successful as he was in his career, he always made time for his family and friends. There were many nights of gourmet cooking, not only for his family but his neighboring friends, as well. He made many friends through the hobbies he was passionate about: building custom hi fi systems fine wine collecting. He even survived the "death ride" cycling with his friend in the desert. Garo was an exuberant, creative and passionate husband and father who adored his wife and kids. He was forever in love with his wife, Staci, and would always try to "romanticize" every moment, even if it ended in utter laughter. With his son, Nicholas, he had endless nights of record playing and modifying vehicles. With his daughter, Sophia, they snuck out to "Popeye's" to eat food Mom would not approve and drove hours to attend football games. Together, they would watch endless hours of movies and soon after, Garo would allude hilarious quotes. In all, he was a Renaissance man. He knew exactly the road he wanted to take to get to where he wanted to go for himself or for his family. Dr. Garo Gholdoian's kind eyes telegraphed in an instant the sort of man we knew him to be: extraordinarily smart and helpful, kind and generous, strong and brave, fun and silly. A Public Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, Dec. 29th at 3pm at South Reno Phil Dawson Womens Jersey United Methodist Church, 200 DeSpain Lane, Reno. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dr. Gholdoian Memorial Fund through Wells Fargo.
